For our New Years celebration we went down town to the Roof to have some yummy dinner, we left to walk around temple square to see some lights followed by a COLD walk to the Galvin center to watch the fire works while listening to some crazy music! We were out till about 12:20 when we decided it was late enough and we should head back to the car that we parked at the Joseph Smith Building. We got there and tried to get in the doors were locked so we walk to the gate the gates closed...CRAP! luckily a security guard saw us in our distress and opened the side door to let us in so we can get to our car! We made it home 30 mins later few!We had such a FUN night and enjoyed every min of it.

Sounds like a party in downtown SLC!!! One time I went downtown for New Years and parked at Crossroads (RIP). It took me an hour to get out of the damn parking structure. I promised never again. Glad you had fun.
